Band Publicity

The rock band I play with decided we wanted some new pictures for publicity, so who better to take them?  This is just a couple of them.

Terri's Boudoir Shoot

A couple of shots from a boudoir shoot with Terri from last year.  Terri was great to work with and I hope I have the chance to shoot her again in the future!

Bio & Landscapes

I thought today I'd add a little more info about myself.  As I mentioned the other day I'm a professional musician.  I'm a percussionist and occasional vocalist and play with groups ranging from wind bands and brass bands, through trad jazz and modern dance bands to rock groups.  I love my job.  I play DW & PDP drums, Zildjian & Wuhan cymbals, Premier timpani, LP latin percusion and Premier & Concorde tuned percussion.  I exclusively use David Morbey timpani sticks and Pro-Mark drumsticks.  I've been playing for about 18 years.  I began playing professionally aged 19 around 7 years ago.  Since then I've played all over the UK & Europe, and even travelled as far afield as Canada, Brunei and even the Falklands!  This gives me some great opportunities to take pictures too!

On with the photos!

Well yesterday I posted a couple of portraits so today I thought I'd post a couple of landscapes.  The first is Barrier Lake on the Kananaskis River in Alberta, Canada.  I took this last year during a months working trip to AB.  The second is a time exposure of cascades in Devon taken last Easter.  I can't for the life of me remember where it was, but it'll be somewhere near Combe Martin as that's where I stayed!

Terri & Emma-Louise

Terri, August 2009

Emma Louise, April 2009

Two older pictures from last year.  I shot Terri at my home using one light and an umbrella; the image shown is one of about 100.  It was her first time in front of the camera in lingerie but she did great.

I met with Emma-Louise through on online model and photographer database (www.purestorm.com) and shot with her in studio.   We shot well over 200 frames and got some fantastic images.

There'll be more from both of these lovely ladies in the future.  I'm hoping to add some newer work, but I thought I'd add some older stuff first!

As always, if you're interested in modelling for me, please leave me a comment and I'll get in touch.

A little about myself...

My name is Christopher Clark and by trade I'm a professional musician with an associate diploma in Recital in Percussion from the Trinity College London (ATCL).

Photography is my hobby.  I love portrait photography, ranging from casual and classical portraits to artistic and glamour nude.  I also enjoy still life and landscape photography, but I'll always choose to shoot people over places or things.

I'm always looking for models to work with, and I actually prefer working with new models who want to gain experience.  I always shoot on a time for CD basis, and never charge for my photos.  So if you're interested in modelling and you live in or near Dorset and can travel please leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

I'm hoping to get some of my previous work up on this blog in the coming few days, so please check back!

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog! I'm hoping to update this with news, and some of my better images for you to enjoy.  Drop me a line if you've got anything you want to know or say!
